MRI Technicians operate medical devices that scan Magnetic Resonance Imaging. They interview patients, enter data into the computer, explain the MRI procedure, monitor patient safety and comfort, and ensure the quality of the images. When the study ends they consult with a radiologist to review the images, answer questions, and schedule further studies if necessary.
Are you interested in medical technology? As an MRI Technician, you will be working with high tech equipment. It is essential to be organized, reliable, and able to work well as a part of a team. You will need to be adaptive and a good communicator.
