Cardiovascular Technologist and Technician

Cardiovascular Technicians conduct tests and provide care for patients to diagnose and treat heart disease. Types of cardiovascular technicians include vascular technologists, respiratory therapists, and cardiac technicians. Vascular technologists conduct tests on the lungs and hearts of their patients; respiratory therapists care for patients with breathing disorders; cardiac technicians provide advanced nursing care for patients in critical or coronary care units.
